Day 4 to 11

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Ok, so the sleeping isn’t working unfortunately. I still think I can do it physically and mentally, it’s just that it’s not practical at all. Last Thursday I was out at the pub with friends and that obviously fucked up my system and when I got home I slept for ages. I’m still looking into cutting down as much hours as possible of sleep though but I think I’ll go for a more biphasic system instead. Which is far more normal, and much more common. Basically involves sleeping 4 hours or so at night and then one 20-30 minute nap during the day.

Poker has been ok. Haven’t played much (little above 1k hands/day) so the plan for the next few weeks (and next  3 days in particular) is to play a lot more (around 2.5-3k/day) and to gradually start studying more (poker that is). Right now my edge is a little low and I’m way too dependant on rakeback. Looks like February will be my 2nd month in a row making more from rakeback than actually winnings. :(

Day 2

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Kind of busy right now, so I’ll write more tomorrow instead.

I will say that I bought a small 15” TV for my computer desk to be able to watch sports (crucial when you do in-play scalping in sports betting), and I can watch movies/soccer games when I play my poker sessions. Also, it looks cool.

I didn’t play much poker at all because I’ve been busy with other things (intentionelly) while in this zombie state of mind.
